A CAMPAIGN FOR EQUALITY IN EDUCATION AND NUTRITION
None of us should ever have to know what hunger feels like, or be made to feel lesser because we could not go to school.

My name is Kanika Shokeen, a student of Lady Shri Ram College for Women.

Have you ever seen little children running about in your locality and wondered why they weren't at school? Or turned a blind eye to a small kid begging for scraps at the red light turn from your place of work?

Individual Social Responsibility is an essential idea that tries to explain what we owe each other, as a community and as a human race. When we were thrusted into this pandemic, I was lucky enough to have an institution that could conduct lectures online. The kids I bring to your attention did not. Their lives were thrown upside down.

A full meal stolen from their every day that they would otherwise get at school in the form of a 'Mid-day meal.'

Share the Joy of a Full Stomach with a Child.

I am raising funds on behalf of the Akshaya Patra Foundation.

I am requesting your support to reach my target of 500000. Please help by donating or sharing the fundraiser with your friends and family. And next time that you see a kid outside your car window, let them remind you that you brought real impact to the life of a child just like them.

You are also eligible for Tax exempt certificate u/s 80 G as per Income Tax.

Please help by donating or sharing the fundraiser with your friends and family.

So, what are we waiting for! Please do support this campaign and bring a smile to another child with your small act of kindness. Help spread this message on your social media platforms so that more have the opportunity to share in the care of these children and donate to this noble cause.

REASONS TO FUND
#1
India is among the 10 countries with potentially the highest number of additional child deaths. Up to 3L children could die in the next 6 m.
#2
Schools remain closed and we are unable to provide mid-day meal, so children are forcefully worked to survive.
#3
Fulfill your Individual Social Responsibility.
